May has come and gone and that means the fifth month of Project 365/2013 is down. The first half of May was spent in paradise: the sparkling waters and beautiful beaches of Fiji. If you haven’t been, GO! Its a brilliant place, and the people there are the friendliest on earth. Early morning amongst the first flights out of Sydney. And the fishermen. And the rowers. And the sparrows….

I shot down to Bondi Beach as word spread on Twitter that the 2013 edition of Celebrity Apprentice were shooting a challenge there called ‘Fishy Business’. The two teams were divided into girls v boys, with Stephanie Rice and Dawn Fraser leading the girls, and Jeff fenech and Rob Mills leading the guys with competing fish n chips shops. Former winner Julia Morris attended as a ‘Surprise shopper’ as well.

This was fun! Sydney’s best breakfast radio show had an outside broadcast at Cronulla Beach which included a world record attempt of ‘The most strangers applying sunscreen to each other’, or as Matty Johns called it: the Sunscreen centipede. Pete Murray and Grinspoon provided live music, the boys were visited by Today Show weatherman Steve Jacobs, boxing champ Lauryn Eagle and Sharks players Todd Carney, Paul Gallen, Luke Lewis and Beau Ryan. And a new world record was set! :)

This one goes to my little boy who is quickly becoming a Ferrari aficianado/tragic, the Prancing Horse was proudly on display at the Australia Day CARnivale, including 3 absolute ‘hero cars’, the F40, the Ferrari Dino and the brand new 458, a car Jeremy Clarkson describes as the greatest Ferrari since the F40.
